The certificate Europe Sustainability Bond 4 is based on the STOXX® Europe ESG Leaders Select 30, a leading European benchmark of 30 sustainable stock titles. The certificate addresses security-oriented investors who consider ethical, ecological and social criteria in their investment decisions.
Payout Profile:
At the initial valuation date the starting value of the STOXX® Europe ESG Leaders Select 30 index (closing price on November 16, 2018) is determined. At the final valuation date the closing price of the index is compared to the starting value and one of the following scenarios will apply:
- SCENARIO 1: Index quotes AT/ABOVE the starting value at the end of the term
Investors obtain EUR 1,400 per nominal value if the STOXX® Europe ESG Leaders Select 30 index quotes at or above
the starting value at the end of the term. This amount represents the maximum payout.
- SCENARIO 2: Index quotes BELOW the starting value at the end of the term
In case of a negative index performance, the capital protection of 100% applies at the end
of the term. This means that redemption is effected at 100% of the nominal value, which
equals EUR 1,000 per nominal value.
The 100% capital protection by Raiffeisen Centrobank only applies at maturity, i.e. during the term price fluctuations may occur, but at the end of the term the investor obtains 100% of the nominal value in any case.
