The USD S&P 500® WinnerGuarantee Certificate enables investors to participate 115 % in the positive average performance of the S&P 500® Index. The certificate is denominated in USD and therefore not subject to the exchange rate risk. The investment is 100 % capital guaranteed at the end of the term. At the final valuation date one of the subsequent scenarios will occur:
SCENARIO 1 – average index performance is positive:
The positive average performance is paid out at a participation factor of 115 % in addition to the nominal value of USD 1,000. The maximum payout is unlimited.
SCENARIO 2 – average index performance remains unchanged or is negative.
In case the average index performance from the six observation dates is not positive, the capital guarantee applies and, at the maturity date, the certificate is redeemed at 100 % nominal value.
Investors who do not wish to invest into single shares participate with this Guarantee Certificate in the performance of an index made up of 500 largest stock exchange listed companies of the United States.
