With the Europe/USA Strategy 90% certificate the strategy is more important than the direction to which the markets will move. For investors who expect a better performance of European shares compared to US-American shares in the upcoming four years and value a 90% capital protection, the Europe/USA Strategy 90% certificate represents an interesting investment alternative.
Payout Profile:
At the initial valuation date the closing prices of the EURO STOXX 50® index and the S&P 500® index are determined. At the end of the term the performance of the two underlying indices is evaluated. As a next step, the outperformance is calculated as the difference between the performance of the EURO STOXX 50® index and the S&P 500® index.
In case of a positive outperformance, the outperformance is paid out in addition to 100% of the nominal value at the end of the term. If the outperformance is negative, the nominal value is reduced by the outperformance. Owing to the capital protection of 90%, the investor is protected of losses of more than 10% of the nominal value.
Scenarios as well as details on opportunities and risks are presented in the product brochure.
